Getting things in order for the Open House

| This sign at 311 Lake Road in Burbank now marks the entrance to McNary Education Center. | |
| The kiosk in front of the building was designed by artists in the Portland office with information about McNary NWR and other Refuges nationwide. | |
| Installing the kiosk was no small undertaking. High tech equipment was brought in to do the job. | |
| Panels by Jennie Rieke were installed in the Discovery Room showing the diverse habitats on McNary National Wildlife Refuge. | |
| Benches constructed by Dale Litzenberger for classes in the basement of the first Education Building were retrieved from storage and cleaned. | |
|
Two of the benches will hold items for
examination by the young visitors.
