SECOND SATURDAY EVENT

A BISON IS COMING
A little bit of bison is coming to
McNary National Wildlife Refuge on Saturday, November 9th.
Edible foods of the Lewis & Clark Expedition in the spotlight.
Sample bison meat especially prepared
as Lewis and Clark never could have done.

Migratory waterfowl are arriving daily. Start the morning at 9 am by combining a birding walk with a search for edible plants. Wear comfortable shoes and dress for changeable weather. Enjoy viewing this wild place before the hibernation for winter sets in. Warm up as you view indoor displays and videos.

What a place to get relief from stress!
And this is open to the public at no charge.

McNary National Wildlife Refuge is located at the corner of Maple Street and Lake Road, half a mile beyond the Snake River bridge on US Hwy 12.
