Planters at work
Kids dig it!
This is not a cemetery
Once more McNary Education Center has expanded the native plant area.
The photographer did not shoot the kids at work.
The planting was done over several days by different groups of kids.
See those staggering white markers?
They are PVC pipes that mark each plant
placed at an angle to direct water to the roots.
Really cool.
And the little plants are so happy to stretch their roots out
of the confining plastic containers where there was no place to go but round
and round.
and guess who came to explore !!!
